Monthly Meetings Cancelled

2016 – Due to a number of issues, which include a lack of suitable venues and increasing time pressures from other commitments, I have, reluctantly, taken the decision that I am not going to be able to continue to run the group in the foreseeable future. 

The website also had to move here (as of 2021) but will, hopefully, remain available in this new location with all the archive material.

It was a fun 9 years from the very first meeting in the Filmhouse. I have really enjoyed all the input and support from you as members and hope that Rui and I will still bump into you in other contexts. However, at least for the time being, I am not arranging any further meeting dates.

Topics were chosen from suggestions by group members in a monthly poll.

From 2008 onwards, most discussion sessions were aided by the availability of an advance booklet containing interesting, useful and provocative information to feed the discussion.

These consisted of articles and items from, fairly informal, Google searches with the content compiled in booklet form, including the article sources.
